Roger S. (McDonough GA)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Venus in Blue Jeans." In 1958 I danced my first dance with a young 13 year old girl. I was 14. The song? "Just a
Dream." Well, we broke up and eventually married others. But in 2003, we met again. She is now my wife.
Obviously, I am a fan. Thanks Jimmy!

Garey Shelton (Seattle, WA)
Jimmy, I've now played bass with almost every great rocker you can name and I have to tell you, your band is killer and your shows are fantastic!

Ashley (Chepachet, RI)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Just A Dream." I've loved Jimmy Clanton's music. I always sing it to my boyfriend whom I plan to marry. Thank you!

Ernie G. (Long Beach, CA)
My favorite Jimmy Clanton song is "My Own True Love." The 50's and 6o's were my best times. There will never be music like we had then. It is
slowly coming back thanks to KDOC TV  and the Doo Wop Shows. My worksite at the VA Medical Center, here in Long Beach, Ca.,is still a shrine
to you, Annette Funicello, Troy Shondell, Jack
Scott, Dee Dee Sharp, Conway Twitty, Fabian, Bobby Rydell, Freddie Cannon and all the American Bandstand regulars. I play that music on a
daily basis. It still inspires me to this day. I will be 60 on January 24th. It still seems like yesterday. God bless you all!!!

Julie H. (CA)
My favorite song has always been "Go Jimmy Go." At the time it was a hit, I was dating a boy named James. And now I have a boy named James,
but we call him Jimmie. He is in the United States Coast Guard. I definitely want to buy your ONLY THE BEST CD. God bless you and your family.

David Agius (Malta)
I never spoken to or seen Jimmy in person but he had been a number of my family for over 47 years! I lived in Australia for 30 years between
1963-1993. I have been hooked on Jimmy Clanton's music since the early 60's since I heard about him for the first time. When I lived in Australia I
used to do radio programs, which I always used to include Jimmy Clanton's music. Once a year, I also used to do the Jimmy Clanton's  program,
which used to include his life story plus his records. The program used to go down extremely well with the listeners. Here in Malta I do radio
programs consisting of 50's, 60's and country music, especially Jimmy Clanton's  kind of music. I still do a program once a year about  Jimmy
Clanton's here also, and it also is enjoyed by my listeners. I will be most obliged if you could send me a photograph, possibly signed by  Jimmy
Clanton , so that I can hang it with the rest of my collection in my records room. Thank you Jimmy , for all the you contribution you had given to
the music world, and all the happiness you have brought into our lives. I'm definitely Jimmy's number one fan in Malta.

Joyce D. (Cut Off, LA)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Venus in Blue Jeans" and "Just a Dream"
Jimmy,  We will be back to Boomtown to see you again.  I am the blonde in the picture on your web site with the Red Hatters.  We love your new
songs you wrote about our chapters of Red Hat Women. We are planning on bringing a lot more Red Hatters to your concert at Boomtown. We
have a special surprise for you also. We can't wait to see you and Roxanne there!

Dale (Lincoln, RI)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "A Part of Me"
Great show last night in Woonsocket! My wife is still excited about meeting you. You made her day by giving a hug. You were always her favorite.i
have 34 different single recordings of yours, so I am obviously also a big fan. I would love to have you do an interview on my radio show.
Woonsocket would love to have you back, and so would I!

Bob Spicer (Bob's Doo Wop Cafe Radio Show)
It was a pleasure seeing you perform last night in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. You're looking great and sounding better than ever! I run a radio
station here in New England and it would be an honor to have a short interview with you before your next concert here in New England. Feel free
to contact me at any time. Keep up the good work and thanks for keeping this great music alive.

Anita M. (Woonsocket, RI)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Just a Dream"
I was a teen when that song came out, so I was so glad to see Jimmy here in Woonswhen he was
here last night with the do wop show

Lynn E. (Westchester, NY)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Just A Dream"
This is to thank you for the outstanding concert at Tarrytown Music Hall. YOU were the reason I went to the show. All these years I have loved
"Just a Dream." As I told you at the performance, I think it is one of the best rock `n roll songs ever written or sung. Your voice has just the right
sound for it! And you still have it!! That concert rocked! The fact that you called us down to the stage while you sang made me flip out!  How
could you have had the presence of mine to remember the 2 school teachers you had talked to, and then to pause the song just long enough for
us to run to the stage? If I hadn't  been totally awestruck, I would have asked you to do sing it one more time! Your personality is such that one
feels you are so wholesome and honest..still!
I had just finished reading a good biography on Alan Freed. I am so glad you mentioned him on the stage. More people should acknowledge him
as you did. He did quite a lot to promote rock `n roll, and it's a shame we can't thank him in person for those great concerts and radio programs
in NYC years ago. Here was a man who took the rap for what was the common practice at the time. I was surprised to learn that he is laid to rest
right here in Westchester County. Speaking of biography...have I missed one on you?
I thank you for the many happy memories your singing has given us. I have been playing your CD in my car everyday since the concert. You are
very special to so many of us!

Amy R.
I wasn't born in the fifties, but your song "Venus in Blue Jeans" has been stuck in my head all week long. I was trying to
figure out who sang the song, so I put the song in Yahoo search and came upon your name. Thats a cool song!

Shera W. (Alexandria, LA)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Just a Dream"
Hi Jimmy! I'm a Queen of a Red Hat group in Alexandria,La. I graduated from Istrouma in 1958,and married my husband Dave in 1959. I met you
at the Southern Club in 1957 at Opelousas. I was with a friend of yours, S.J. Manuel. You bought me a hamburger and fries, and we danced
three times. Even then you had such a spiritual quality you didn't even realize. We actually talked about your voice being a gift from God, and
how blessed you were, while we were dancing. God can reach us anywhere, can't He? Ha! One of the other Queens sent my group your Website,
and I have had a blast reading it!
You have a really beautiful wife, and family. So good to know that. I have been blessed with a wonderful family also. My husband and I will
celebrate our 49th anniversary in February. God bless you and yours!

Jan C. (Carroll, OH)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Just A Dream"
Was on the internet, had the AOL internet music on and they played a song by Jimmy. My mind was flooded with the memories of that time. So
much has happened in our lives since then. So glad to see he is still active, happy and handsome.

JIM J. (Strasburg, VA)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Another Sleepless Night"
My wife and I just saw
Go Johnny Go on TV and shared great memories. You were at the top of my favorites list. Your songs will always live with
me!

Ashley D. (Chepachet, RI)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton song: "My Own True Love"
I really love your music, Jimmy. Keep up the great work!

Lee R. (Leesburg, VA)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Just a Dream"
Jimmy Clanton was a household word during my high school years.  I can still remember driving down the road with my girlfriend snuggled by my
side in my '49 ford listening to "Just a Dream."  Some memories never die.

David C. (Houston, TX)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Go Jimmy Go"
Does Jimmy still minister in churches?
He does, depending upon his schedule. Read his INTERVIEW SPOTLIGHT, which shares some of his thoughts (and a special word
given to him by John Osteen) which helps him understand that his gift and calling is ministering God's love, no matter where he is
singing. He believes his success during the Fifties and Sixties opens doors to all kinds of people that may never otherwise come
to hear him sing.

Pearl (Logan, OH)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Go Jimmy Go"
I always enjoyed Jimmy, I would watch him on Dick Clark's
Beechnut Show on Saturday and also American Bandstand. I never had the chance to
see him in concert tho.  I have the movie
Go Johnny Go on video, and it is still one great movie.  I would love to have his autograph if possible.
It is possible! Due to overwhelming response, we have now made three very special autographed photos available for Jimmy's
fans.
To order...

Jan T. (New Orleans, LA)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Just A Dream." I, too, was thrilled to see Jimmy in concert at Boomtown. What a great performance. It brought
back wonderful memories of my teenage years.  I remember Jimmy riding in a convertible in downtown New Orleans promoting his movie. He
autographed my hand that day, what a thrill! Thanks for coming back to New Orleans. I'm looking forward to more concerts in the NO area. We'll
be there, that's for sure!

Jimmy P. (Kuwait)
Really enjoy listening to your songs. The ONLY THE BEST CD is great. Helps me think of home!

Yvelyne M. (New Orleans, LA)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Just a Dream." While girl were screaming for Elvis, Jimmy was the only one
that prompted my shouts of joy. I can't believe that I got to see him live recently and to touch his hand at Boomtown. Imagine.. being raised in
NYC, moving to New Orleans and getting the opportunity to meet my childhood dream artist, and to have him sign a picture of him that I had kept
since then...that was God's gift to me...It still seems unbelievable! God Bless you and your family, Jimmy, and may He help you to continue
bringing joy to others through your talent. You will always be my number 1 artist.

Jolene B. (Oklahoma City, OK)
Love the Rock n Roll Memories on Jimmy's site...really enjoyed the story about Hoyt Axton's "Joy to the World" and his mother Mae Boren Axton's
"Heartbreak Hotel." Did you know that her brother, Lyle Boren, served the Sooner State in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1937 to 1947.
Her nephew, David Boren, Lyle's son, was a U.S. Senator and Governor of Oklahoma, and is now the President of the University of Oklahoma.
And since Oklahoma is celebrating 100 years of statehood this year, let's give a few other Oklahoma connections to that story.
Hoyt was born in born in Duncan, Oklahoma and was raised in Comanche, Oklahoma. He was an All-State high school football
player who won a scholarship at Oklahoma A & M (now Oklahoma State University).

George (Stoke-on-Trent, Sheffordshire, UK)
I'm Jimmy's biggest fan, I'm sure, at least in the UK. Thanks for the new ONLY THE BEST CD. What a great group of songs. I've owned them all
on 45 rpms, then on albums, then on cassettes. It's nice to have all the finest tunes in one collection on CD. When will you be putting out a new
album, Jimmy?

Gloria A. (Plainview, TX)
I absolutely love the Rock `n Roll Memories on your Website. I loved the remembrances of the Everly Brothers. Wasn't their sound so
phenomenal? When will you do something about Ray Peterson? Oh, and I want to read lots more about some of the interesting things about
Jimmy Clanton and his career, like the "Go, Bobby, Go" story! Love it!

Sonja L. (Warsaw, Poland)
Wonderful Website! Thanks for reminding us how great the older songs are. Things weren't so great in our country back when your music came
around the first time, but people still listened to it, often in secret, and it gave hope when everything was pretty bleak. Your CD brings back such
memories. "Another Stormy Night," my favorite of all that you have recorded, brings tears, but in a good way. I love you and your music!

Judye D. (Richland Hills, TX)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Angel Face"  Wow!!!!  I'm in awe of this website....I was just cleaning out my Favorite Places, came across this
link, and here I am! I literally fell in love with Jimmy Clanton, as I'm sure most young girls did back in the 50's-60's, when I first saw him in the
movie
Go Johnny Go - yep, back in the late 50's.  I FINALLY got to see him in person in 1962, in the Houston, Texas area, which was an answer
to this 13 year old's prayers. After many years of marriage (I have a Jimmy of my own now <wink>), one son, and two grandsons, I'm still his
Number One Fan....OK, I know, everybody says that, but I AM....and even at the age of 58, being his Fan still gives me goose bumps!!  Thank
YOU, Jimmy Clanton, for touching my life!!! God bless you and your wonderful Family! Can't wait for you to come to Texas. I'll be there in a
heartbeat, hopefully in the front row...now that would be an answer to another prayer, oh yeah, I like that!!!

Nadine (Houma, LA)
I am so envious of my Red Hatters!  I missed the appearance at Boomtown Casino, but they are raving about it.  I have heard from them that it
was a performance to remember for a long time to come. Thanks for posting their picture on your site.  I am a Pink Hatter, which means I am still
in my 40's, but I must say I love these women! They have to be some of the most fun women I have ever spent time with! Thanks again for
making their night wonderful!

Gigi L. (Brussels, Belgium)
What a fun Website! I'm only 32, but I grew up on American Rock and Roll. Everyone I know loves the really good songs from the Fifties and
Sixties and Seventies. I think it's bigger than ever over here as a lot of younger people re-discover the tunes from another era. Thank you for a
wonderful place to remember all the great songs you recorded.

Harold L. (Metairie, LA)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton song: "Red Don't Go with Blue"
I just saw Jimmy's performance after waiting for 45 years to see my childhood idol. Great!!

Joyce D. (Galliano, LA)
We were at your concert last night at Boomtown. We had front row seats, thanks to a friend. You are an ageless entertainer, and you made us all
feel like we were 16 year old teenagers again, as we sang along with you. You brought back memories to all of us there, of our younger years.  It
was exciting to meet you and to have our Red Hat group take a picture with you for your website. Keep on singing your heart out, Jimmy. You are
an inspiration to all of us.

Timi Y. (Kyoto, Japan)
What a great Website. I love your music, and I always have. When are you coming to Japan?

Kathy (Gray, LA)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Songs: "Just a Dream" and "Venus in Blue Jeans"

Jeanette B. (Galliano, LA)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Just A Dream." What an awesome performance last night at Boomtown! Oh my gosh. I am with the Red Hatters
that were there gawking over you, Jimmy! I am so happy we got to see you, meet you, and take pictures with you! I have always been a fan.
Check out the photos of the wild and crazy Red Hatters with Jimmy on his journal page.

Valerie P. (LA)
Hi Roxanne and Jimmy! I was at the concert at Boomers. I am your Aunt Rose's baby daughter. I attended the show with Cathy, Betty and
Meredith, your Uncle "Pee Wee" Claude's daughters. Uncle Pee Wee and Aunt Rose were brother and sister. I remember being a very young girl
and visiting with your Mother in her Baton Rouge home. You were probably touring at the time. I thoroughly enjoyed your performance and I am
so proud to have such a  famous cousin. I am a hairstylist and when I tell my clients who you are they all recall just being in love with you all these
years. You bring such joy and love to your audiences, God bless you and take care. See you next time at Boomtown, hopefully soon!

Linda P. (New York)
I am one of the school teachers who were at the concert in Tarrytown, New York. I want you to know that we had a great time at the concert. Both
of us felt 16 again. You are gracious and very thoughtful. We loved that fact that you called us down to the stage. Your charming personality
lights up the show.  We will catch you when you return to the New York area, guaranteed, and will be watching your website for future
engagements.

Paul R. (Canada)
My favorite Jimmy Clanton Song is "Little Boy in Love." It's been so long since I've heard news about you. I grew up listening to your music, it was
the best. Best to you and your family!

Rich K. (Sparta, NJ)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Venus in Blue Jeans." I was lucky enough to remarry again to my own "Venus in Blue Jeans." I was 11 when your
hit came out and it was my introduction to the early 60's music. Also, it was the year my love of my life was born. Isn't that kismet! When will you
be back in the NY-NJ area?

William S. (Lancaster, PA)
I was a good friend of his in Lancaster. I was a cop there and he played on my basketball team. Thank you.

Jay M. (Mobile, AL)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Just A Dream." Thank you for the years of memories that your songs have
given to me. Listening to them has seen me thru some tuff times. I'm looking forward to seeing you in New Orleans on 9/22--the drive from Mobile
will be worth it!

Lynn B. (New York)
The concert at Tarrytown Music Hall on 9/15: AWESOME!

Mike D.
Just trying to think of a 50's R&B flavored song Jimmy did.
All of them, some more than others! You're probably thinking of "I Trusted You." It's available on the exclusive CD Only the Best.

Tom B.
I am 66, born in 1941. Was drafted and spent time in U.S. Army.  Was sitting in the courthouse where I work today talking with some friends about
the "Golden Oldies." I said that I remembered "cruisin" in my 56 Ford with Jimmy Clanton singing "Just A Dream" playing on my  radio.  Of course I
had a pretty girl sitting right beside me.  Those were better times.  All my friends remembered Jimmy Clanton, so I thought I'd check the internet to
see what you were up to. Glad to hear that you and your wife are into physical fitness and that you are still "rockin' and rollin'" God bless you
both.

Ken V.  (Kenner, LA)
I arranged and played tenor sax on his first record (at Cosmo Matassas in New Orleans) in 1957 or 1958.  See if he remembers me. I'd love to
hear from him.

Sandra G. (Kemah, TX)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Just A Dream." My parents used to listen to oldies, and I listened with them as a little girl. They have both gone on
to a better place, but I still remember them when I hear your music--such wonderful memories that I cherish. God Bless you. I wish you the best,
and thank you for the memories.

Mary C. (Beaumont, TX)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "My Own True Love." I have loved Jimmy's music since his first song came out. I
was in his fan club when i was younger. I still have the picture of you in your Army uniform. I got to meet you when you came close to my home
town. It was really hard picking my favorite song because they are all
great. Can't wait till you come to my area again.

Joyce D. (Cut Off, LA)
Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Just a Dream." I live down in the bayou Lafourche area. I know you have some relatives down here. Our Red Hat
Society group of ladies will be going to see you September 22 at Boomtown
Casino.  We were all teenagers when you were popular in the 50's and 60's. We are looking forward to seeing you.

Albert B. (Wickliffe, KY)
My favorite Jimmy Clanton Song has always been "Another Sleepless Night." I grew up in Baton Rouge and was lucky enough to see Jimmy,
Johnny Rivers, and John Fred in live performances. In later years, I worked with Johnny Vincent at ACE Records. He always said that Jimmy was
"the best."

Janice S. (North Richland Hills, TX)
My favorite Jimmy Clanton Song is "Tell Them I'm The One." It is wonderful to see you are doing so great. I am still awed that what I thought was
just a poem for me would end up ministering to so many. God bless you!
Nearly three decades ago Janice wrote the poem that ended up being the basis for the lyrics to the title song on Jimmy's new
Christian CD,
Tell Them. Yes, it has ministered to many. Thank you and a big God bless you to you, too!

Karen G. (Olathe, KS)
My favorite song is "Venus in Blue Jeans." I've been a fan of Jimmy's ever since he was a guest singer
on the
Milt Grant Show in Washington, D.C. around 1959. I was there with my school group to dance on the show. I actually ended up dancing on
the show with Jimmy. How handsome he was!  And I've been telling this story to many out in Kansas where I live now. I hope to see you in
Branson, Missouri.

Vickie (Concord, NC)
My favorite Jimmy Clanton song will always be "Just a Dream." I am now 59 years old, but was just a young girl the first time I saw Jimmy in the
movie,
Go Johnny Go. I have loved his music ever since.

David S. (Redondo Beach, CA)
I met Jimmy in Galesburg, IL back in the 80's. I just wanted to say, "Hi." I love your music. I have a web site also, www.homecomingcountry.com.
God bless.

Carol Sue A. (Albuquerque, NM)
My favorite song is "Just a Dream," but all are great. When you were in Albuquerque last time I had just lost my Mom (93) and I had to miss your
performance which both made me really sad. Even my little Mom loved your music, probably because she had to put up with her only daughter
growing up as a teen in a small town in West Virginia in the late 50s and early 60s. We all watched
American Bandstand, and I have all your
albums. I did hear from some of my co-workers later that your performance was great (as I had expected). Hope you and your wife can make
another trip back to Albuquerque. I would love to see you both. Thank you for your wonderful music and voice.

Bill H. (Suffolk, VA)
I was 11 yrs. old when I heard "Just A Dream" on the radio, and it's been my favorite song ever since. Jimmy, I know without any doubt, I am your
biggest fan!

Jerry S. (Waterloo, AL)
My favorite Jimmy Clanton Song is "Just A Dream!"

Pamela D. (Red Boiling Springs, TN)
"Just a Dream" is my favorite Jimmy Clanton song. Will Jimmy be doing any shows soon in the South. It seems like all the good oldies shows are
up North. People down here love this music, too. When are you coming to Tennessee? Thanks for hearing me out. Please come to Tennessee?

Dana C. (Zwolle, LA)
I first heard your music as a girl. I have always loved it. God bless and best wishes!

Caroline K. (La Mirada, CA)
When I was a teenager, Jimmy was my favorite singer and big  crush. So I was really excited to find this website and to know that he is still
performing. I still have all of my Jimmy Clanton 45 rpm records, and they still sound just as wonderful today. When he performs in Vegas or Reno,
I'll be first in line for tickets! Do you know yet when
that will be? I live in Southern Calif, so I'd love to know if he'll be performing anywhere else near here. Jimmy, I wish you the very best of luck and
happiness in your life.

Martha D. (Pembroke Pines, FL)
My favorite Jimmy Clanton Song has always been "Just A Dream." I found this website by accident and love it! I grew up listening to Jimmy
Clanton. Your website brought back so many memories of when I was growing up to those great hits.

Love the site. Love the Rock and Roll Memories. Best of all, love all the memories connected with jimmyclanton.com, especially reading about my
favorite song as a teenager, "Venus in Blue Jeans."

Jonathan P. (Reno, NV)
When are you coming to Nevada? I'm only 32, but I've always enjoyed your recordings, especially since my Mom and Dad loved you so much.

Alun J. (North Wales, UK)
I wanted to say how much I have always admired your talent as a singer and enjoyed many of your performances on radio, records and such
films as
Go, Johnny, Go and Teenage Millionaire. I wish you good health and happiness in the future.

Stella S. (Clinton, OK)
I remember listening to your songs during the Sixties on KOMA, the big rock and roll radio station from Oklahoma City. It seems like yesterday
when my steady boyfriend sang "Venus in Blue Jeans" along with you. And "Just a Dream" still sends me into the stratosphere. That steady
boyfriend and I have been married for 44 years, and we still love your music on
ONLY THE BEST. What next for you?

Julie N. (Waxhaw, NC)
Finally! I just saw Go, Johnny, Go on Turner Classics Movies, so I did a Google search. Voila! All this great info about you and your career. And
the
"Venus in Blue Jeans" T-shirt...I can't wait to wear mine! Thanks for all the great memories.
Isn't it fun to see Jimmy's movies again? You can click here to suggest Turner Classics Movies to schedule Go, Johnny, Go and
Teenage Millionaire again in the near future for everyone to enjoy.

Henrietta F. (Berlin, Germany)
Still solid gold! What a great theme throughout your website. So true. When are you coming to Germany? Soon I hope.

Cory M. (Toronto, Ontario)
Why can't I find CDs of your songs? Some Websites say they have them, but when I try to order them, they have none available. What's up? I
need to hear "Just a Dream" on something besides my old vinyl album.
MyBestYears.com has released ONLY THE BEST, which is chock-full of 21 ORIGINAL recordings of the ORIGINAL hits. They've all
been remastered to sound as clear as the day they were recorded, and best of all they are on CD, so you should never lose quality
again. Enjoy the songs that have meant so much to me and others through the years.

Brigette L. (Paris, France)
It's so great to find your site. Please come to France. We love rock and roll dearly, especially from the Fifties and Sixties!

bless you, Jimmy! I hope to make one of your concerts.

Sherry B. (Hiram, ME USA)
My favorite Jimmy Clanton song is "Venus in Blue Jeans." A question: Was Jimmy ever connected to a group of musicians who went on to become
the "Viscounts"?

Carol B. (Woodbridge, NJ USA)obal

Glenda B. (Phoenix, AZ USA)
The best rock `n roll site I've seen!

Mary W. (London, UK)
My fave Jimmy Clanton song will always be "Because I Do." It was one of those songs in the early Sixties that spoke directly to my heart about
some lovely things going on at the time. What great memories jimmyclanton.com brings back!

Gloria L. (Wills Point, TX USA)
"Just a Dream" is my favorite song. Please let me know about any appearances in our area.

Sandra and Jackie C. (Reserve, LA USA)
It was great seeing Jimmy perform at Boomtown. The concert brought us back to the good old days. Your voice is as strong as it ever was. What
a great entertainer! Please come back home to Louisiana more often, and
let us know you will be back!

George P. (Albuquerque, NM USA)
What a great Website. It's great to hear that Jimmy Clanton is going stronger than ever. I will never, ever forget "Venus in Blue Jeans." I was just
starting to date the girl who would later become my wife. "Venus" became "our song," and every time either of us hears it, it causes that old
familiar lump in the throat and makes the heart beat faster.

Nora J. (Essex, UK)
My favorite Jimmy Clanton song was "Just a Dream." I was young and gawky when it came out, and something about the girl in the song really
spoke to me and gave me confidence. I guess I hoped some man would feel that strongly about me someday. Thankfully he did, and we're still
together. When are you coming to England?

Selma R. (Bronx, NY USA)
I'll never forget seeing Jimmy Clanton performing on "American Bandstand" and the Alan Freed shows. What a delight to discover him again after
all these years. Please let us know when any new CDs are coming out.

Sandy W. (Holtwood, PA USA)
I'm so pleased--finally, a great Jimmy Clanton Website! "My Own True Love" is my favorite Jimmy Clanton song.

Rueben A. (Kapalua, HI USA)
Great site! It's especially good that everything that is Jimmy Clanton is finally in one place. It's so good to see all the photos that we haven't seen
before. The one with Jimmy, Elvis and Rocky Graziano is amazing, as is the one of Jimmy, Bobby Rydell and Bobby Darin. These memories sure
take me back!

Kelsey G. (Laguna Beach, CA USA)
Is there any doubt? There is no song quite like "Venus in Blue Jeans." It takes me back to a very special time in my life every single time I hear it.
I'm so glad Jimmy is still making the magic happen. What a great Website!

Jimmy, please make sure to come back to our area soon. It has been much too long. My husband and I had our first real date at a concert where
you were playing. "My Own True Love" said it then, and it still says it now.

What great memories we have of going to see Go Johnny Go and Teenage Millionaire back in the day. It was long before Help by the Beatles,
and many years before MTV and all the music video phenomenon, but for many of us, your movies and ones by Elvis helped all of us teens
everywhere to see our favorite singers up close and hear all those great songs. Thanks for all the memories! When are you coming to Canada?

"Go Jimmy Go" is my favorite Jimmy Clanton record.  I had just arrived in the United States to attend college when it was a hit. It was so
all-American to me, talking about young love and dancing. I wore out three different copies of that 45-rpm single that first year in the dorm.
Today, when I play the CD of the song, I have all the same feelings of being sad and alone so far from home, yet so excited to be getting my
education in America.
